Veil of Confidence

The veil of illusion is this: overconfidence in our beliefs. What we experience here is too intermingled with personal perception and interpretation, so much so, that it is impossible to discover an absolute reality. To remove the veil, is to have an underlying sense of our lack of knowledge. It is to realize we don’t know what this is, why things occur, or what their consequences may be. And when pulled aside, we experience life as children, with surprise and admiration for a pristine world unfolding before our eyes.
