Unsurety of Life

Imagine an uncomfortable memory, a fairly recent one. Now think about how little is known about life, how there is no proof of what’s perceived, how things may not be what they appear to be, how the body and mind are observed more than controlled.

Associate unpleasant events with this unsurety of life. And when engaging with the world, and unpleasantness occurs, let the association arise in the mind. Realize the experience may not be what it appears to be, so watch it dispassionately, and smile at the absurdity.
